At our office and away from it, our mission is always at the forefront of our minds:
Providing complete, life-long dentistry with excellence and integrity. Keeping a focus on the whole person while honoring God first. Following the Golden Rule as stated in Matthew 7:12 – "So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the law and the prophets."
It is the impetus for our personal fulfillment and the driving force that inspires us to enrich the lives of our patients and community members. And because we have support from valued patients like you, we are able to reach out – just as the Almighty outstretched his hands – to those around us.
The Ways We Practice What We Preach
Dr. Nathan J. Flesher and our team members are active members of their community and give back every chance they have. They are church volunteers and four times per year they participate in Dental Health Arlington (DHA) volunteer day. They perform about 10 dental surgeries, many of which are full-mouth extractions. In one recent case, Dr. Nathan removed a tumor from a 15-year-old boy’s jaw. Each volunteer day of dentistry is valued at about $10,000.
DHA is a non-profit, low-cost dental resource that provides preventive and pain-relieving services to low-income residents and educates children about good oral hygiene habits. This is possible because of the generosity of volunteer dental health professionals – like Golden Rule Dental Care – and sponsors.
In January of 2019, our practice became a Premier Sponsor of Young Life Of Arlington. This entails a minimum three-year commitment with a total investment of $45,000 – the highest level of corporate sponsorship.
Young Life is an organization that inspires young people around the world. Its time-tested approach includes various activities and gatherings in communities. Its volunteers connect with youth wherever they are – from football practices to the mall. Everyone who gets involved truly cares about youth and is committed to sharing the power of God’s love. This program helps them discover their worth and future purpose.
