Meet Dr. Nathan J. Flesher
When he saw how his parent's friends were changing lives as dentists, Dr. Nathan knew right away he had discovered his calling. A “plan B” wasn’t part of his vocabulary.
Education
A Uniontown, PA native, Dr. Nathan first earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in biochemistry before achieving his DMD degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2014. Seeking to follow God's calling, he worked with the Christian Medical and Dental Association placement program and was selected to practice in North Texas. One of his favorite professional accomplishments was commissioning as an officer in the Army Dental Corps in 2013. He now serves as a Texas Army National Guard dental officer, using his skills and knowledge to promote and restore the dental health of Texas soldiers. Dr. Nathan takes great pride in helping other soldiers improve their oral health. He’s an active member of several organizations including the ADA, AGD, AACD, and AAFE exceeding the minimum standard of required continuing education hours many times over each year.
Outside the office
When he’s not helping patients achieve the smile of their dreams, Dr. Nathan loves the blessing of being a husband and father. After falling in love and becoming a high school sweetheart, Nathan married Becca at age 20 when she finished nursing school. They've been blessed with a son Gavin, a daughter Grace, and a daughter Evelyn "Evie" Jo. The children are proud PCA Panthers and love every day at school!
Dr. Nathan stays physically active by exercising and exploring the outdoors, especially enjoying pool time and sunshine with his family. Other pastimes include traveling, shooting, sporting clays, reading, and sharing his knowledge with others. Helping other people is integral to his life’s mission and doesn't end when he leaves the office. Dr. Nathan serves on the security team at church and has donated hundreds of hours of philanthropic dentistry at local nonprofits including Dental Health Arlington and Beautiful Feet Ministries.

For more than 40 years, Golden Rule Dental Care has had a hand in improving the community’s oral health. Dr. Nathan J. Flesher is proud to continue the excellent work of those who came before him, including doctors David Bridgwater and Carter Kolodny.
In 2016, Dr. Flesher took over for Dr. Bridgewater. He catered to patients in the Woodland West area for 40 years. In a letter to patients, he expressed confidence in passing the torch to Dr. Nathan, a doctor who shares similar ethical, moral, and professional values.
“It has taken me several years to find such a person…” said Dr. Bridgwater, describing Dr. Flesher as “well experienced in all phases of general and family dentistry.”
After meeting Dr. Flesher and his wife, Becca, he quickly grew fond of them. “They are a young and enthusiastic couple who are excited about this opportunity to build a practice and serve you as their patients.”
Over the years, Dr. Kolodny got to know Dr. Flesher as a colleague and friend. He was fully confident in Dr. Flesher’s ability to care for his patients.

Dr. Flesher is grateful for gaining the endorsement of both doctors. He plans to continue to make them proud by staying true to his mission of helping others while honoring God first. He is making enhancements through technology upgrades and new procedures, resulting in the most efficient, accurate care possible.
